Raceway 81  
 October 31st -  Novemeber 1st
24 racers arrived at Raceway 81 for the Final round of the 2009, 1/24th B.O.C. Series.
As usual at this new venue,  with some racers coming for the first time and working hard on race set-up, practice was frenetic but all rose to the challenge and resulted in a great weekend’s racing in all 3 classes.
We have very limited photographs of the event, so anyone who has has photos they would like to be included on this page, please email them to us as soon as possible.
Tech sheets were issued to all racers and those that have been returned will be collated and published here as soon as possible in excel format.
A special mention should be given to Andrew Aynsley, who retired from racing at the tender age of 16 when Riverside Raceway closed and who has just returned to Slot racing a couple of weeks ago. Using blagged kit from Graeme and Andy, Andrew achieved a 3rd in Production G12 Saloon,  a 2nd in Open G12 and a very credible 5th in Eurosport, not bad for someone who hasn’t seen a slot car for 5 years!
Once again, a range of great food was provided by Mark from the “Pits” and race control for the weekend was by Andy Brown-Searle, Graeme Stephenson and returnee racer Andrew Aynsley. All the crew at Raceway 81 would like to thank the racers who travelled from all parts of the country for the event and we hope you enjoyed it sufficiently to visit us again next year for so more Flat Out Fun!  So here are the results and once again, if you have anything to add to this report in terms of photos or comments etc. Please feel free to email us , just click here!
