B.S.C.R.A. NATIONALS
QUALIFYING ROUND 2
 COMBINED AREA 3 & 1 EVENT
 14th FEBRUARY 2010
23 Intrepid racers from areas 3 & 1 attended the Raceway 81 area round on Sunday the 14th of February. Practice started at 8.30 and ran through until 10.45 with visiting drivers taking priority until 10.00.
 Racing was to B.S.C.R.A. Classes in 1/32 scale Saloon, Formula One and Sports, with an option of racing Falcon powered cars for all racers, should they wish.
 Race format for Saloon and Formula One was qualifying by 1 minute all laps to count, direct into 6 x 3 minute segmental races. Due to time considerations because of the attendance numbers, racers opted for a slightly earlier finish by running Sports as 6 x 3 minute heats, seeded from the results of the previous classes and splitting out the Falcon car runners as practically as possible.
Catering on the day was provided by the now well known “Team Wattam”, with Bacon and Steak sandwiches, hot mince pie and a selection of refreshments to help keep competitors warm and nourished!
 As is generally the case with area rounds, non BSCRA racers are also encouraged to race, but do not count points within the area Championships. You will find a “Quick round-up” Of the BSCRA registered racers results here, followed by full results for  all racers present, in all classes.  
 Raceway 81 would like to thank all racers for attending what has to be said was a great days racing. We hope you enjoyed the racing as much as we enjoyed organising it and that you all had a timely and safe journey home.
