Victor Ludorum Points were awarded as follows.
Total number of drivers in the event + 10.
Winner of the subclass gets the total of the above, 2nd less 2, 3rd less a further 2, 4th less a further 2, 5th less a further 2 and then less 1 point per place. A Concourse win scored an additional 5 points.

Mike Read was totally uncatchable in Open Sports with a superb car, taking a well deserved win by 25 laps from Graeme who was rapidly “running out” of motor in the last few segments. George Kimber took the OG12 win from Les Bailey by 10 laps. Further down the G12 field the racing was very close.

18 Racers arrived for the October Fest to compete in a fun and competitive series of races.

The theme of October Fest was one of “race what is in your box” with some alternative choices of bodies, making the racing a little different to the “norm”.

1st Race - 1/32 Sports - with 3 subclasses, Falcon, G12 and Open. All sub classes were for open choice of chassis. Falcon and G12 cars were permitted to run commercially available Ultimate bodies. Open Eurosport cars had to run approved BSCRA Eurosport shells.
2nd Race - G12 Wing Car - for steel G12 wing chassis and a free choice of black sponge tyres, with no added glue.
3rd Race - 1/24th Production Sports - with 2 sub classes - Falcon / JK Hawk & G12. (Hawk motors only allowed if Gear ratio is shortest 3.5:1) A choice of any pressed 2 or 3 piece production chassis. Both subclasses could run any body from the BSCRA Open G12 list or the Red Fox ISRA Audi sports body.
4th Race - 1/24th Open Sports - with 2 sub Classes - G12 or Open Motor Eurosport. Open G12 cars were permitted to run Ultimate bodies, Eurosport cars had to run BSCRA approved Eurosport shells.

Club superstar Graeme dominated 1/24 production but ever competitive Mike Read kept him honest throughout the A final.
Chris Cowan had a scalding run with his JK Hawk motored car, splitting the G12 field in the process.
