For those looking for reasonable accommodation here are the details for the travel lodge many of us stayed at last year. It’s around 15 - 20 minutes from the track, but was reasonably priced (especially if booked early) and it has the benefit of a Toby Carvery next door which is cheap and good for evening meals and breakfast.
North London - 28th February & 1st March
Highlands - 27th & 28th June
Raceway 81 - 22nd & 23rd of August
Rockingham - 17th & 18th October

UKRRA Rule Book 2015
The 2015 UKRRA rules can be found on this page as pdf downloads.
We would suggest that all racers take time to download and read the rules to ensure your cars comply.
The admin team would wish to point out the following which willbe closely followed by
all race organisers, race controllers and scrutineers.
1) The rules call for all lexan bodies to be minimum 10thou thickness, weare aware that
some bodies may indeed be thinner on vertical sides due to the forming method,
however, bodies which are obviously not 10 thou will be rejected at tech control.
2) The rules for all classes clearly state that all four wheels should touch androll. If
during the course of a racea car losses front (or rear)wheels, front axle assemblies etc,
the racer will be required to remove the car from the track and repair the car in a
workmanlike manner,in race time. Loose front axles or missing wheels will not be
3) During track calls Marshals may straighten braid and bodies which mayhave been
tucked under, however time will not be allowed forother repairs, which must be made by
the driver or others not involved in the race, during race time.
2015 looks like it will be a great year for UKRRA with 4 events on 4 great tracks. We hope
that you all enjoy the challenges to come. Good luck and most importantlylet’s enjoy
and have fun!
