RACEWAY 81 is the new home of the Newcastle Slot Car Racing Club.
The venue provides Fun, Competitive Slot Car Racing for all levels of ability and ages.
With two Club nights per week + a Novice club starting soon on Saturdays for younger racers from age 10, the variety of Classes and speeds of racing are wide and provide something for everyone interested in this great sport, first established in the UK in the 1950’s.

In addition to Club Night Racing, the venue is also available for Private, Group and Corporate bookings.
You are welcome to join us on any club night and find out just how competitive and just how much fun Slot Car Racing is for all ages.
Generally House cars and controllers are available to visitors to enable you to enter into the fun and try it for yourself.
The Club has many knowledgeable members (some who are current or past National Champions) to assist and advise.

Full 4 mm Sq Power taps on + & - at half distance.
Rostrum Plugs;- Standard BSCRA 3 pin and also ISRA colour coded 4mm sockets.
Lanes are numbered 1 - 6
Lap Master race control with projector display
